For most moms the first trimester is rough. And while mine could have been much worse, I still had some bumps in the road. Here's some of the items that got me through my first trimester (aka...my survival pack)....
1. Mother's Special Blend Oil:
My belly popped early and this has been my all natural go to product to sooth and moisturize my stretching skin.
2. Squeeze applesauce pouches:
I love these because they are easy to throw into your purse just in case you get hungry. I'm 23 weeks now, and continue to always have these in my bag.
3. Instant oatmeal:
My stomach couldn't handle much the first trimester, but I knew I needed to eat breakfast and wanted something healthy. On most work days I'd have a pack of instant oatmeal with a handful of dried cranberries.
4. Protein bars:
One thing I learned during the first trimester was that I needed to eat frequently. If I didn't, I noticed I'd get nauseous. Protein bars saved me many times! I'd open one, take a few quick bites to hold me over until lunch, and magically I'd feel better.
