We drive past Manny's Deli a lot, and my mouth usually drools at the prospect of potato pancakes, reuben sandwiches, and pastrami. Sadly whenever we tried to go, it'd be closed. We must have been trying on Sundays because that's the only day Manny's is closed.
Well, we made it, and it was awesome! Walking into Manny's is like walking back in time. It's set up old-school cafeteria style, so you grab a tray and slide on down as your eyeballs do the choosing.
I can't wait to see what my eyeballs choose next time!
ON OUR PLATES
+ pastrami and corned beef on rye (you get to choose your bread + mustard is self serve at your table)
+ potato pancake (is thick + has body to it, easy to eat w/ your hands, + oh so yummy)
+ dr. brown's cel-ray soda (yes, celery flavored soda. unlike anything else + perfect w/ my meal)
