Before + After (ottoman)

My friend Kate + I went thrifting for some goodies and a few nice projects to get our hands on. Kate was on the lookout for an ottoman, and I was looking for a nice chair (I found one, but more on that later). We spotted this bad boy and thought it'd be perfect. All it needed was a nice cushion + some paint to transform it from "hmmm" to "awww yeahhh," plus we thought it could act as a part-time coffee table if you styled it up a bit with a nice tray & some accessories.

Even Kate's dog, Lulu, was excited for the new ottoman!

AFTER: awww yeah!!

Kate started off by spray painting the frame white. She bought some high density foam + cut it to fit the frame, then sewed a pretty poppy flower cover. Voila! for about $ 4 0  a new ottoman.
